Jada's mommy here. This is the story of how Jada came to her FURever home.
Jada truly is a gift from God! My husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) and I both lost our family dogs within 3 months of each other in late 2005. It was very sad for the both of us and we agreed we would get a dog once we would move in together. In early 2006, we finally moved in together and discussed a dog more and more. We took into consideration the size of the house and yard and thought a smaller dog would be good. I researched for months about the miniature pinscher breed and found a min pin breeder only 2 hours away from us. After many email exchanges and phone calls, we were finally able to go to bring our little buddle of joy to her "furever home" on August 26, 2006.
I can remember the first day we brought Jada home just like it was yesterday! It was rainy and damp. When the breeder brought her out to us I couldn't believe how tiny she was. She instantly clunge to me and then to my husband cuddling under his chin. I think we all knew at that moment we were all meant to be together. The ride home was fun! I sat in the back with her and she would cry a little and crawl around and eventually fell asleep on my lap.
Finally, we got home and we placed her down in the grass. She wobbled around the yard and from that moment on we knew that she would never like the rain again! We brought her into the house and she was scared at first but then saw all her toys and her brand new big brown comfy bed!! She was so shy but couldn't resist the toys, toys, TOYS!!!
A year later we've come to realize and learn much about each other. Jada has had a few health scares and we believe that she was definitely the runt of the litter. We are happy that we have her and are able to give her such a wonderful, caring and loving home. We are so happy to have her in our lives and we love her so very much.
